Early departure, boarding at Hell-Ville for Ankify, the main port connecting Lemur Island to Madagascar. At the port, you will mainly see containers transporting goods and vehicles to Nosy Be.
To reach Cyril plantation from Nosy Be, our journey begins at Ankify. The approximately twenty-kilometer journey takes us along a road that is currently in very poor condition and leads us through fields where coffee, ylang-ylang, and especially cacao are grown. This region of Sambirano is distinguished by the presence of cacao trees. Upon arrival, explore the mysteries of chocolate making and the development of various cocoa varieties.
To Ambanja, the leading cacao-producing city in Madagascar. Throughout your journey, you will be amazed by the landscapes and lush flora. A stop is planned at Benavony to allow you to explore this large baobab tree steeped in history.
Lunch at a local restaurant while savoring typical dishes of the town.
A stop at the local market, Tsaramandroso, is a perfect place to capture beautiful memories among the local sellers.
Finally, we return to Ankify, following the same route to reach Nosy Be.
