A beautiful itinerary on the must-see sites of northern Madagascar. Explore the extraordinary biodiversity of the Ankarana National Park, the Amber Mountain National Park, the Tsingy and discover the secrets of the Cyrille plantation.
On the first day of your North Madagascar tour, accompanied by your guide, you will leave by speedboat for Ankify where a 4x4 car will be waiting for you. You will take the national road n ° 6 to reach the village of Mahamasina at the entrance to the National Park of Ankarana. The landscape is marked by lush vegetation, traveler's trees, cocoa, mango and coffee plantations.
In the afternoon, you will spend contemplating this grandiose panorama of Ankarana. The hike is quite sporty because it requires 2 hours of walking. Its exceptional flora and fauna make Ankarana one of the protected areas of Madagascar.
The Green Lake circuit gives the discovery of the tsingy, vast expanses of limestone rocks sculpted by erosion with bat caves and immense walls strewn with bat nests.
At the end of the visit, you will leave the village of Mahamasina to join Joffre ville.

On the second day of your North Madagascar tour, you will be taken to the Amber Mountain National Park. The park is located about forty kilometers south of Diego Suarez and three kilometers from Joffre Ville.
By taking the path with very abundant vegetation, you will enter a unique tropical garden, a primary rainforest, which several torrents and sacred waterfalls in various places. The fauna is also tropical. Seven species of lemurs, including five diurnal species and two nocturnal species, out of the 112 species that Madagascar has - including the smallest lemur in the world, the red eulemur microcebus. During the walk, you will encounter reptiles including the smallest chameleon in the world, the Brookesia tuberculata and birds - there are more than 75 species. The flora is typical of the tropical rainforests of Madagascar, composed of traveler's trees, palm trees, orchids, pandanus, giant trees....
The second stage, transfer to the private park of red Tsingy, a unique phenomenon in the world. Born from the meeting of rainwater and a compact rock, the red Tsingy is the result of the erosion of this sandstone-marl massif. These tsingy are fragile but you will have the leisure to contemplate them in particular the large and small red tsingy, as well as the Canyon. The red tsingy differ from the tsingy of Bemaraha by their more rounded shape.
You will continue the journey to the Mahamasina Village to spend the night. Dinner and night at “Chez Laurent” or similar.
For this last day of your North Madagascar tour, your driver and guide will take you to discover the Cyrille Plantation in Ambanja - known for its plantations such as cocoa, coffee, vanilla, pepper.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the port Ankify, located 20 kilometers from Ambanja. The journey takes 30 minutes. Your guide will take you on a speedboat and take you back to Nosy Be.
Arrived on the island of perfume, your guide will install you at your hotel.
