Embark on an extraordinary adventure to discover Maromokotro, the highest peak in Madagascar, rising to approximately 2,876 metres above sea level.
Over 13 days and 12 nights, this expedition takes you through the wild landscapes of northern Madagascar, far from the classic tourist routes. You will pass through remote villages, rural landscapes, traditional trails and mountainous terrain, in the heart of a region that remains largely untouched.
More than just a trek, this experience offers a true immersion in authentic Madagascar, bringing you into close contact with local communities and nature.
The itinerary is designed to allow for a gradual progression towards the mountain massif, with an acclimatization phase, the ascent to the summit of Maromokotro, a recovery day, and finally the descent towards Ambanja.
Upon arrival at Nosy Be Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team.
After meeting our team, you will depart directly from the airport towards Ambanja, the starting point of your expedition to Maromokotro.
The transfer will take you progressively from Nosy Be to the mainland, while allowing you to discover the first landscapes of north-western Madagascar.
Upon arrival in Ambanja, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time to rest after your journey.
