Upon arrival at Nosy Be International Airport, our team warmly welcomes you and transfers you to your hotel.


Spend your first day relaxing on white sandy beaches or exploring local markets filled with the scents of spices.


In the evening, a full briefing introduces you to the trek program, safety measures, and necessary equipment. A perfect introduction to your Malagasy adventure, with a peaceful night facing the ocean.

After a local breakfast, depart for Ambanja, the capital of cocoa and vanilla. The journey passes through lush rice fields, rolling hills, and picturesque villages.


Discover the lifestyle, cultures, and traditions of the locals. After a typical lunch en route, continue by 4x4 to the village of Ambohimirahavavy.


Here, the porters and cook await to prepare the campsite. The evening under the stars immerses you in nature and the authentic atmosphere of the trek.

The first day of trekking begins along paths bordered by cocoa and coffee plantations before entering the dense tropical forest.


The sounds of nature accompany you: bird songs, rustling leaves, and sometimes the distant call of a lemur. The day lasts 6 to 7 hours, with breaks to observe endemic flora and fauna.


Picnic lunch by a river before reaching Andampibe, where the campsite is set up in a wild and preserved setting.

This stage takes you higher into the massif, with a gradual climb to Ambalafary.


You enter the primary forest, a habitat rich in biodiversity: colorful chameleons, rare birds, giant ferns, and wild orchids. The trail, sometimes muddy, crosses waterfalls and crystal-clear rivers.


The hike lasts 6 to 8 hours, punctuated by moments of wonder at the pristine beauty of nature. Overnight in a bivouac in the heart of this magical forest.

Today, you reach the base camp located at 2,000 meters altitude.


The path becomes more demanding, with steep slopes and rocky passages. The view over valleys, ridges, and surrounding mountains gradually unfolds.


At the camp, the fresh, pure air surrounds you. Preparation for the Maromokotro ascent planned for the next day. Overnight in a bivouac in a spectacular setting under a clear sky.

Early morning departure to climb Maromokotro, the highest point of Madagascar.


The ascent is challenging, but the landscape diversity – cliffs, rocks, alpine vegetation, and floating clouds – makes each step fascinating.


At the summit, the reward is unique: a 360° panorama over the massif, deep valleys, the distant sea, and sometimes the sunset behind the clouds. Photo and picnic break at the top before descending to the base camp. Overnight in the bivouac under the stars.

After the ascent, it’s time for the descent.


The trail offers a new perspective on the forest and waterfalls. Observe wildlife, enjoy relaxing moments by the rivers, and share experiences with porters and guides.


Overnight in a bivouac at Ambalafary after about 7 hours of trekking.

The descent continues to Andampibe.


Stops for swimming in natural pools and refreshing breaks by waterfalls. This day allows you to fully enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the massif.

Final trekking stage on foot to Ambohimirahavavy, then by 4x4 to Ambanja before returning to Nosy Be.


Check-in at your hotel facing the ocean for a relaxing evening and one last magical sunset on the island.
